The Manara Regional Center for Coexistence, led by Executive Director Bakhita Al Rumeithi, formalized a Memorandum of Understanding with Prof. Dr. Mathias Rohe from the FAU Center for Islam and Law in Europe (EZIRE). This agreement, honored by the presence of Bavarian Minister of the Interior and Integration Joachim Herrmann, establishes a collaborative framework for advancing interreligious and intercultural dialogue through joint research and initiatives.
The memorandum underscores a commitment to promoting social inclusion and empowering youth as leaders of tomorrow, with support from FAU’s Research Centre for Religious Diversity. Minister Herrmann commended this collaboration as “an important contribution to deepening the dialogue between cultures and religions.”
