Manara Chairman Meets Ambassadors of Coexistence Alumni from Reichman University

As part of its ongoing efforts to support youth-led coexistence initiatives, the Manara Center delegation, led by His Excellency Dr. Ali AlNuaimi during their visit to Tel Aviv, invited participants from Reichman University who were part of the Manara Youth Coexistence Initiative 2024 (Ambassadors of Coexistence). The meeting, held at the UAE Embassy in Tel Aviv, provided an opportunity to reflect on the impact of their project and explore pathways for sustaining and expanding its contributions to peacebuilding.

The Reichman University participants previously developed a research project titled “Water Management as a Tool for Regional Stability in Arid Regions,” focusing on water diplomacy and resource management as mechanisms for fostering coexistence. Their work, centered on the Israeli Negev Desert, examined how innovative water technologies, community collaboration, and educational initiatives could bridge divides between Bedouin and non-Bedouin communities. The project proposed solutions such as decentralized water systems and youth-focused education centers to strengthen social cohesion and mitigate resource-based tensions.

During the meeting, discussions highlighted key learnings from the project, its practical applications, and potential strategies for ensuring long-term sustainability. The Manara Center remains committed to empowering young leaders and fostering cross-cultural dialogue through initiatives that drive meaningful change.
